Kenya Bush Excursions offer you a unique magnificent five day safari takes you to explore the Kenya’s Rift valley. The tour first takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park, a popular Rhino sanctuary and also provides a chance to visit and explore the nearby Lake Elementaita which is often teeming with hundreds of flamingos. The final leg of the tour takes you to explore the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve, which is home to members of the big five all year, along with hundreds of other amazing animals that inhabit the park.
Breakfast at your Hotel followed by safari briefing by Kenya Bush Excursions guide/driver and you depart the Rift Valley. The Great Rift Valley, one of the wonders of the world, is a large depression that runs through Kenya from North to South and is part of the East African Rift System which starts in Tanzania to the South and continues Northwards into Ethiopia. The view, as you approach from Nairobi and the eastern escarpment is breathtaking. Whilst this stunning introduction to the Rift valley is amazing in itself, actually descending and exploring the hills, the rolling savanna, valleys and lakes of the Rift in Kenya is a “not to be missed” opportunity. Have a brief stop at the view point area to take in and photograph the beautiful landscapes and then proceed exploring the dramatic Rift valley passing the beautiful lake Naivasha and check-in into Sentrim Elementaita Lodge. Lunch at the lodge and an afternoon game drives at nearby Lake Nakuru National Park before returning to lodge for dinner and overnight.
Further game drives scheduled in Lake Nakuru National park this morning. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including both black and white rhino, lions, leopards, buffaloes lots of other animals and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Return to the Lodge in time for lunch and the spend the afternoon at leisure or exploring the Lake Elementaita.
This tour can also be tailored for accommodation at a Lodge inside the Lake Nakuru Park which would mean a slight price increment.

The endless plains of Masai Mara are the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the wildebeest migration. From the vast Serengeti plains to the champagne colored hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara hundreds of thousands wildebeest, zebra and gazelle, relentlessly tracked by Africa’s great predators, migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year in search of rain ripened grass. The annual wildebeest migration culminates with the grand finale crossings at the crocodile infested Mara River. Explore the vast reserve before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.
Enjoy full day unlimited game drives in the vast reserve in search of the members of the big five. Masai Mara has a healthy population of all the big cats – lion, leopard, cheetah and is also one of the few parks where it is possible to spot all members of the big five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. The rolling open grassland are home to an astonishing collection of wildlife and is the perfect picture of an African safari.
Return to camp for a delightful night under canvas.
Being the last day of the safari, spend the morning in the bush, exploring unspoilt Africa, preparing to return to civilization. Return to Nairobi with a lunch stop along the way. Drop off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport.
